As the current refugee population in Europe includes children from West Africa to Central Asia, language cannot be a barrier in our mission. That is why we chose to work with  Boomwhackers.

Boomwhackers are expressive musical instruments that are very easy to play, cross cultural, portable, peaceful, colourful and most importantly fun, for children and people who work with children.

Play of the instrument takes place in groups and focuses on social interplay, dynamics, and tracking of simple rhythms and melodies. The inherent communal nature of playing with Boomwhakers enhances children’s social skills, cognitive musical ability.
