We are on a mission to help children from conflict areas. How? With music. Our main goal is to provide basic social, therapeutic and educational music lessons to refugee children in Europe.

As well as the essentials for survival such as food and shelter, children need to be able to play, express themselves and interact with others in order to develop into healthy human beings. We believe music is a very powerful tool for this development as it can help children to heal the emotional wounds of war, boost creativity and stimulate compassionate communication

Since the beginning of the refugee crisis, families have fled violence by the millions and have become stuck in refugeecamps. Children in these camps are often deprived of any form of cultural education or stimulation so we have built a program for these children in Greek camps. We transformed our Fiat Ducato Van into a 'home on wheels', stuffed it with instruments and hit the road with our so called 'Boom Bus'. The Boom Bus provides an interactive, educating, and lasting musical experience. Utilizing the potential of the interactive instrument Boomwhackers, the Boombus visits refugee camps and emergency shelters along a route from Amsterdam to Athens. At each location we host boomwhacker workshops, music lessons, and organize performances for the children and families. We also facilitate teacher workshops for adult refugees and aid workers on site to help improve their teaching skills and workshop hosting, so as we move on to a new location, the music lessons for children will continue to take place.
